Beyond physical exercise, it provides mental enrichment, strengthens and improves the bond between dog and guardian, and aids in focus and confidence in various environments.

No previous training is required to join the fun. ParCORE classes start with the foundations to build confidence and communication between you and your dog as you learn the skills.

Dogs of any age can participate. Puppies and seniors can focus on ground-level foundation games to avoid straining their developing or aging joints.  

Yes. Since dogs often work individually or at a distance, it is highly accessible for reactive dogs. Please discuss with your trainer before classes if your dog requires extra space or barriers.

Absolutely! ParCORE encourages dogs to explore their environment and solve problems, which helps reduce anxiety and builds independence.  At the same time, it also provides the focused, one-on-one attention a "velcro dog" craves, but in a productive way.

Yes. ParCORE is "functional exercise." Because it required focus, balance, and slow movement, it often tires a dog out more than a 30-minute run.

A well-fitting harness (highly recommended for safety) with a handle for guardians to use when spotting. Prong/Pinch collars and e-collars are prohibited for safety reasons. You will also need a fixed-length lead/leash, plenty of high-value treats, and water for you and your pooch.

Yes! Titles are earned by submitting videos of your dog demonstrating the skills on multiple real-world structures and through send-outs. Certified ParCORE Instructors will evaluate the videos. Members price $25/title, non-members $35/title.
